I am just going to blog this out because I am sure it is something I don't understand. If any of you do read this, maybe you can point me in the right direction.
First, I do not understand how to subscribe to everyone's blogs. I started to do it, but kept getting a window asking me to do something I didn't understand. Even to get to the blog spot at home I had to do something with the "cookies" on my computer. Now, I keep getting "cookie" messages, too bad they aren't chocolate chip. I don't think I would block that near as often.
Second, I also do not see how I can get a file from my CITRIX account to my home computer without copying and pasting the content. It seems I could just do a "save as" for the file on my own computer, but that didn't work. Does anyone else understand what I am saying?
I realize that no one else may read this, but in case you do, maybe you could enlighten me. I am starting to confirm my opinion that I truly know nothing about technology.
See you all on Friday...

Again, remember that subscribing is NOT required. It's just another option. You have to have access to a feed reader, though, before you can subscribe. I use Feedreader 3, but you can just use your browser (if you have Internet Explorer 7 or the newest version of FireFox). It is really up to you. Once you decide on what feed reader you are going to use, then you would need to copy the link in the person's blog (where it says "Post (atom)") to the area of your feed reader for subscribing to feeds. It sounds harder than it really is, but your first step is to find a feed reader - and then go from there.
As for cookies, most sites - including the libraries - run off of cookies: small little text files that resided on your computer the let the website know you have been there before. We'll talk more about cookies next weekend.
